To you reading this, wherever you are from, hello!

You may already know that the Philippines was recently ravaged by Typhoon Ulysses (international name: Vamco). I have friends and family whose homes in Metro Manila were flooded, and they are now in the process of cleaning up all the mud and debris that washed up with the floodwaters.

As of this writing, the provinces of Catanduanes and the Bicol region in the south of Luzon are also picking themselves up after two super typhoons (Goni and Vamco, locally known as Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses) devastated towns and cities. The provinces of Cagayan and Isabela up north are also in a state of calamity, with many still needing to be rescued.

Being a solopreneur supporting my young family and my contractual staff, I didn’t know how I could actively help in relief efforts, beyond reposting reliable information I could find on social media.

Thanks to an idea from a friend of mine, I’ve now decided to donate 5% of all my booked sales/projects for December 2020 up to February 2021 to typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines.

I know it’s not much, but I am hoping this will help just a little bit given that relief efforts cost so much. Government agencies and private groups and institutions alike need funding for them to be able to carry out rescues, distribute relief, and disseminate direly needed information.

I am still studying my options on the specific agencies and groups I will be forwarding proceeds of my sales to, so please continue to watch this page for updates.

UPDATE: A portion of proceeds from all December 2020 to February 2021 eDesign sales will go to Kaya Natin PH and the Philippine Animal Welfare Society.

Kaya Natin PH is a non-profit and non-government organization that promotes good governance and ethical leadership in the Philippines. It is also one of the partner foundations of the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines.
The Philippine Animal Welfare Society is one of the few animal welfare organizations that have always strived to look after pets and animal needs in times of calamities. You may check out their website or Facebook page for updates on their current rescue and relief operations in relation to the two recent typhoons.

That said, I still have a few slots left for eDesign projects in December 2020, and am currently lining up our Remodel and eDesign projects for January and February 2021.

If you are interested, go check out the links below for more information about how I can help you with your homes. You can also connect with me through the Contact Me button to send me details about your plans and projects for your home.

Again, 5% of all booked eDesign projects for the months of December 2020 and January and February 2021, as well as waitlisted Remodel projects for January to February 2021, will be donated to typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines. Watch this page for updates on the specific agencies and institutions I will be coordinating with for this endeavor.

Looking forward to working on your homes, and partnering with you to help Filipinos affected by these calamities, and those working on rescue and relief operations for them.
