testimonials

  • You are so good, Camyl. You just stare at a spot for a few minutes then you start moving things around—and suddenly everything looks nice. You have the Midas Touch!

    Monina, Cainta
  • We loved the ease of online consultations with Camyl, she was very thorough and always provided us time to give feedback on the design. We asked for an updated and timeless design, as well as more storage, and we got just that.

    Nikki, Makati
  • Working with the Gal at Home Team completely surpassed all of my expectations. I figured I would fill out a survey and then get a simple design plan. Instead, I had incredible conversations around my design style and preferences, they created custom artwork for me, offered multiple options for all of the suggested furniture (I loved it all) and they did a 30+ minute walkthrough of every recommendation. It was incredible and so simple to follow.

    Kelsey, Ontario, Canada
  • It was a challenge for me to decorate and furnish a small condo as I work and live overseas. I’ll never regret asking for professional help. Gal at Home delivered the services that I wanted. Camyl and her team did an awesome job. They were very patient and professional.

    Mark, Florida, USA
  • Gal At Home has provided us excellent online design service. We were overwhelmed with so many choices and we really needed someone to put us in the right direction of planning our space.

    Mariel, Rizal
  • I asked Camyl to come up with a design and shop list that would fit my meager budget, and she delivered a reasonably-priced design promptly. I may not have been a big client, but she paid attention and considered all my concerns nonetheless.

    Becky, QC
  • I love how GREAT a listener Camyl is. When the proposal was given to us, it included so many details she picked up from our call that really made us feel listened to. The design was very smart, practical, and very easy to execute. The eDesign service is perfect for us who live abroad. I’m very grateful we have access to such amazing design talent even when we are all the way here.

    Jean, Singapore
  • As a new homeowner, I have my own idea of how my space should look like. With Camyl onboard, all I did was set the general direction for my unit—and she did the magic through and through. It was styling studiously perfected by years and years of practice and dedication to her craft. What I most appreciated about Camyl’s work is her eye for the littlest details. Five stars.

    Rain, QC
  • I’m really happy with the interior service because I didn’t have to go around stores trying to figure out what items would work for my home. I like that Camyl would just send me the list per room with pricing, so I can pick out what I like!

It's been a weird time for me, to be honest. And I It's been a weird time for me, to be honest. And I've seen all over social media that the past few weeks and months have been weird for a lot of people too.

So whether it's one or two planets in retrograde or a full moon wreaking havoc on your emotional safe guards, or because it was ghost 👻 month, or because you just haven't been praying enough or meditating enough and not listening to God or your angel 👼 or your intuition...

I'm about ready to get out of this weird space, this weird time. How about, let's? As my dad always liked telling me as a kid, "Eat the elephant bit by bit." So here I am, starting with this room that has been the bane of my existence for several weeks now. I hate this desk, I hated the idea that I had to clear this desk, I wasn't ready to clear the bags (and baggage) that had been heaped on top of and under it. But if I don't do it now, then it's not going to pick itself up and take itself out of my house now, would it?

Hope you too have started cleaning up your own heap of sh*t now that—whatever this period was—is now supposedly over. And if not, then perhaps let this cheeky song give you that loving kick in the 🍑🍑🍑 Rooting for ya 🥳
I know hiring an interior designer or decorator is I know hiring an interior designer or decorator is not always in the budget. I have had a lot of inquiries that always voiced that out as a concern. And to be honest, interior design is still a luxury service—so many moving parts, so many things to conceptualize and create, so many elements to manage and oversee—it is no mean feat, and it is definitely not cheap.

So instead of turning away would-be clients who desperately need help with their homes, I thought, why not empower them instead? I created the #GalAtHomeSpacePlanningBlueprint for exactly this purpose. I'm teaching our entire eDesign process in a way that will allow you to work on your home project on your own, that gives you access to a mentor (that's me!) who can provide you the proper support in your own home journey, and that lets you be part of an encouraging community of like-minded DIYers like yourself.

Granted, I can't teach you to become an interior designer (and this is definitely not that kind of course!). This is more a step-by-step program of the design process, so that you stop feeling like a headless chicken, stop feeling like you're just blindly and arbitrarily following contractors to do everything for you, and start taking charge of the important work of updating and upgrading your home.

Check out the reel to see all the lessons I've included in the program, and go to the #linkinmybio for the full details. The Blueprint is currently on its presale price, but as soon as doors to the program open next week, it will go up to the early bird price. So hope you can join us today!

I was a Lit major, and obviously love to read. And I was a Lit major, and obviously love to read. And if you already didn't know, am also quite the decorating geek 🤓

I've since pared down my book collection over the years, but don't think I'll ever successfully Konmari my design books---in fact, it's still growing by the year, like a child 🧒

Here are some gems from my library, all still regularly thumbed through, used, and abused (with some bearing obvious smudges, marks, and dirtied covers😅). But just in case you were looking for something for yourself, or just enjoy ogling books like I do, then here's a reel for you.

(These are also my sources of inspiration for the #galathomespaceplanningblueprint which I'm currently completing! It's become so packed and so meaty, I'm beginning to think I priced it so low LOL. Get it at the presale price of $45, before I raise it to beta price on September 18th! #linkinmybio)

I received this DM in my inbox recently, and thoug I received this DM in my inbox recently, and thought of posting my answers here, just in case you were also thinking the same things about the Gal at Home Space-Planning Blueprint.

Remember, this is not just some on-demand course that you may never get around to using. It's a full-scale program where you will be learning our entire eDesign process in a way that you can do it yourself; receiving as much support as I can give through weekly live Q&As; and even engaging with an online community with whom you can share your progress (or lack of), and benefit from having accountability buddies.

The Blueprint is on presale now at 70% off, but as soon as door opens, that price will go up to its beta price (I wanted to run it on beta first, so that early birds may be able to give me their feedback and help me adjust and improve the program for future takers). After three months, the price will go up to its final and regular price.

Check out some FAQs and answers above, and head over to the #linkinmybio to get all the details.

THIS ISN'T A BOOK REVIEW. But just wanted to bookm THIS ISN'T A BOOK REVIEW. But just wanted to bookmark this reel with the first thing that @ayanaalica and I bonded over, and her latest (not last!) note for me as she returned it to me today.

I lent this book to Ayana when we first met, here at my house. She'd been at a crossroads in her life, thinking of pivoting to interior design from her established career in graphic design. In no time, she had signed on as @gal_at_home's first design associate—the first official member of my Design Team, after years of my winging it as a solo designer (aided by my admin support team @mich.acantilado and @carieaguila of course). We have been through countless Zoom calls, dozens of design kickoffs, lunch outs (I discovered my favorite teishoku place with you!), innumerable site visits, car rides, traffic moments (like when I unknowingly sped through a stop light because I was so busy making kwento to you??? I'm sorry for endangering your life! 😅).

Because she literally and figuratively sat on my passenger seat for years, she has heard all my sob stories, my gripes, my fears, and insecurities. As a newb in the industry, she deferred to me when it came to design, but bravely offered her professional opinions on so many work tings, and more often than not, she was right.

When she told me she was getting married to the love of her life—who is based abroad—I knew this day would come. It was a long time coming, but I had the months and months to prepare myself. Thank you Ayana, for having my back, not just as a design pro, but also as an entrepreneur. So many things we went through together—the challenging projects, the super-kulit clients, the *hnnnggg* suppliers, but also, all those fun styling days, shopping and sourcing trips, those group lunches, and weekly Topline meetings—and we (I!) couldn't be more fortunate to have had someone like you in our team. May you shine in your new life and role as wife and immigrant in the land of the maple! 🍁

No goodbyes! ❤️

With our online interior design services, we can help you banish the confusion and overwhelm that comes with every home project.
